About Us

Marketing and Communications provide cross-channel communications and marketing solutions to support all units within Enrollment Management and Services (EMAS).

Our Mission

Marketing and Communications provide cross-channel communications and marketing solutions to support all units within Enrollment Management and Services (EMAS).

These efforts promote brand awareness, positively influence the yield of admitted students; promote continuation and graduation of matriculated students; and provide information for families and prospective students. These efforts also promote and enhance the University’s mission and strategic direction.

Our Objectives

We provide communications and marketing support through a variety of creative and effective on-brand communication and information design solutions. These solutions range from print to digital, web, and environmental design.

  • Provide quality and timeliness of all products created by Marketing and Communications.
  • Provide in-house art direction, design, multimedia production (digital/print/web), communication, and marketing expertise in response to various teams’ needs.
  • Provide communications and marketing support and consultancy to stakeholders for the best outcomes to meet their mission.
  • Create sophisticated, legible, and accessible multimedia products that both meet the NC State brand and accessibility standards.
  • Support the facilitation and documentation of on and off-campus events by providing human resources addressing the stakeholder’s and organizers’ needs.
  • Provide management of external relationships with vendors.

We create partnerships with other divisions, units, offices, and colleges to meet both their goals and advance the university’s strategic mission and goals through communications and marketing support.

  • Represent Units if additional support is needed (recruitment fairs, international travel, presentations, outreach events, orientation, open house).
  • Provide consulting support to external vendors including guidance and standards for meeting the University brand and to facilitate completion of hired services.
  • Provide meaningful campus student internship opportunities.
